Day By Day Itinerary: 2D1N Rinjani Summit Climb Package
Day 0: Arrival Lombok – A Day Prior The Climb – Free Transport – Free Accommodation
- Our driver team will greet you at Lombok International Airport/Bangsal Pier/Labuan
Lombok/Lembar Harbor. Waits for you at the arrival hall with a paper/card signs your
good names. Should you face any trouble in finding our driver team, please reach out to
us via WhatsApp/telephone call/text.
- Pick up service is also applicable anywhere in Lombok as listed above. Please be
informed your precise location and your preferred-time.
- Drive to Senaru/Sembalun Village, hostel check-in and meeting.
- Spend the night in a private room which is provided for free.
Day 01: Sembalun Village - Crater Rim 2,639 Meters – Sleep In Tent
- We will pick you up at your hostel accommodation at 06:30 – 07:00 (By that time you
should have finshed breakfast). Take you on a 50-minute drive to Rinjani Park Office
Sembalun. Your guide takes care required document and check in process.
- Kindly bring with you a soft copy of your passport to be shown if required. Transfer to
Sembalun village. Register at the Rinjani Park Office.
- Drive to Kandang Sapi (Bawak Nao) to begin you’re the 2-day Rinjani summit climb.
- Your guide takes you trekking through an open meadow, reaching Rest Post 1 (1,300 m) and
Rest Post 2 (1,500 m). Lunch is served.
- After meals you continue to Rest Post 3 (1,800 m). Ascend to the Sembalun crater rim
(2639m), which involves a prolonged, steep climb.
- Camp overnight at the Crater Rim to enjoy sunset and sunrise views. Have a nice sleep!
Day 02: Crater Rim - Rinjani Summit 3,726 M - Sembalun Village – Transfer To The Next
Destination
- After waking up at about 2 AM, a light breakfast is served. You begin ascending towards
the Summit, which you will reach in about 3 to 3.5 hours.
- After seeing the sunrise over the entire island and the volcano, and taking beautiful
photos, you begin descent to the rim.
- Once you reach the camp at Sembalun Crater Rim, after a breakfast and hot drink (coffee
or tea), you begin descent back to the Sembalun Village which you will reach around
15:00 Hrs. in the late afternoon.
- Our driver team will take you to pick up the rest of your luggage, and you will then be
taken to your destination location in Lombok (Lombok Airport, Senggigi, Bangsal Pier,
Harbor, etc.).
- Service ends.

| Meals & Drinks |
All melas, drinks, soft and isotonic drinks, cake/biscuit, and fresh fruits on
the mountain.

| Guide & Porter |
- Rinjani guide that speaks English to show you the way, help you
if needed and arrange everything for you.
- Local porters to carry all food and equipment up and down the mountain.
Note that the porter will not carry your backpack. Should you need one,
please hire an extra porter.

| Camping Equipment |
Tents for every 2 people, Matrasses, Pillow, Sleeping Bags, Toilet Tent, Cooking
Gear, Portable Camping Chair and Table.

| Trekking Permits & Insurance |
The trek insurance is included in the trek permits managed by the Park Authority
– covers evacuation costs, basic medical expenses, and potentially death or
permanent disability benefits due to accidents during the trek. We still
recommend you to buy an international travel insurance with wider coverage.

| Accommodation |
A night private room with private bathroom and hot shower in a local
accommodation prior the hike.

| Personal Expenses |
All personal expenses such as; air fare, laundry, ferry tickets, alcoholic
drinks, etc.

| Meals on Arrival Day |
Lunch or dinner at hostel accommodation, the day before the hike. While
breakfast is provided for free.

| Extra Porter |
Hired porter to carry personal backpacks. Please consult should you need one or
kindly pack light by bring with you the essential item only.

| Personal Clothes/Equipment |
All personal gear such as; pants, jackets, shoes, walking sticks, head
lamp/torch, gloves, hat, etc.

| Tips for Guide/Porter |
While it is not compulsory but very recommended. You can tip them based on their
performance and the difficulty of the trek.

PACKING LIST
All meals, drinks and equipment is provided, but you should bring the following for
Rinjani
summit climb:
- Shoes – trekking boots are ideal, but even running/hiking shoes with a good grip can be used
- Backpack – ideally, a small hiking backpack so you can put clothes, camera, and other things
you need
- Long pants (it’s very cold at high altitude, reaching even minus temperatures)
- Warm jacket – if you don’t have one with you, you can rent one on the spot
- Head lamp – if you don’t have one, you can rent one on the spot or buy a cheap one from the
nearest shop
- Sun screen – even when cold, the sun burns at that altitude
- Camera if you want to capture the entire adventure and scenery
- Additional snacks, if you want to eat something specific
- Sun glasses
- Rain coat (a chance to rain is high anytime)
- Light towel
- Spare t-shirts and shorts
- Hat
- Insect repellent
